Enterprise Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1972 and incorporated in 1978 to serve the engineering needs of New England industries. Beginning in 1978, the firm expanded its services to the federal government. In 1985, a group of five employees assumed ownership and management of the firm. Steady growth has continued in the original core industrial services with a heavy emphasis on petroleum distribution, storage, and aviation hydrant systems.

The firm expanded in 1991 into Alaska to serve the aviation fueling needs of the Department of Defense. A full spectrum office was soon opened, and today continues to offer specialized fuels engineering, as well as traditional engineering services to the commercial and institutional markets.
